The world I enter

Tomorrow I hope that smiles are bigger, stomachs are fuller, and life is longer.

I hope that the sky is bluer, the air is fresher, and the grass is greener.

I hope that the plants grow, the birds fly, and animals don’t die.

I hope the oceans are clean, animals are safe, and trash won’t stay.

I hope the food is fresh, plants can grow, and the water is fresh.

I hope shootings won’t happen, that kids are safe, and there’s no hate.

I hope everyone gets an education, that judgment isn’t a thing, and only love was passed around. I hope the new year is different, I hope that racism isn’t something we have to worry about, and that color wasn’t something that everyone was made fun of.

I hope that insecurities are something no one has to deal with, that we could love our

selves without having to change and that makeup wasn’t a huge thing.
