Stars

The stars are like
the eyes of God
watching over all
Not always seen
yet always there
Serenely presiding
over the heavens
commanding awe
and reverence
from all that see
The stars they
never slumber
nor does God
Instead he keeps
his watchful eye
on everything
that he created
When he places
the stars in space
he reminds us of
his loving gaze
watching over all
just like the stars
but more mysterious
