An Ode to Chocolate

An Ode to Chocolate

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Nay, for the sun thou cannot suffer well,
Where sweltering heat makes thee melt away,
And all too soon, thou art merely sweet smell.

Dark brown chocolate, bitter and so sweet,
Thou melt away slowly upon my tongue,
Wonderful chocolate, best thing to eat,
Thine taste is better than many songs sung.

I would give so much to always have thee,
O sweet chocolate brown and delicious,
Why thou art not more loved, I cannot see,
Thou art finest of the innutritious.

Chocolate, chocolate, thou art the best,
Of singing thine praises, I shall not rest.
