Don't Blame Yourself Earth



It's okay reassures the Sun,
they do not blame you.
It's okay insists the Moon,
they know you don't know how to help.
It's okay Mars tries to cheer you up,
you are too busy helping everything awaken from Winter. 
It's okay the girl whispers,
I'm fine with you spinning 'round and 'round and not knowing whats going on.
But I do! 
You insist.
The boy lays down,
I'm fine with you not being the cure.
I- I'm doing my best to help...
you plead.
It's okay comforts the Stars, the Nebulas, the Blackholes,
But it's not you insist.
But it is they argue.
Then you hear a small voice,
"Thank you Earth for bringing me here and everyone and thing I love.
You bring laughs, love, and smiles.
You are just Earth, 
don't feel sorry.
You help by spinning.
You help by blooming.
You help by being Earth."

The Track We Are On

Gold is slipping down the horizon
As I sit, alone, in this metal chair
Gulping down dusk's nectar breath
Admiring Mother Earth from my yard

A sprinkler puddle shimmers, catching my eye
Soft breezes dance past, ticking my neck
The whirring wings of a hummingbird zip by
As the crickets tune for a midnight concert

But one day, all that is green will turn gray
No sprinklers needed, who wants real grass?
Hummingbirds have long been extinct
And dead silence in place of euphonious melodies

We'll still be wearing masks
But not because of some virus
But because if not, we'll start choking on the air
Devoid of trees and oxygen

This is the track we are on
The future our bullet trains
Processed foods and plastic islands
are steamrolling, barrelling towards

Greedy, greedy little creatures
And in time we will learn,
Biting the hand that feeds us

Us And The Earth

We are the protectors.
We are supposed to save, and protect the earth.
We are supposed to save the life,
But, we don't.
Instead we pollute, and tear down our earth.
We take charge and leave everything else in the dust.
We tear down habitats, and Ecosystems.
We cut down trees, to make buildings and cities we don't even need.
If we didn't have humans,
Our earth might look different.
It would look lush, 
And beautiful,
It would change.
But,
We devote a whole day to our earth,
And the people who do participate know,
That if we don't make the change and start protecting,
We might no have a earth,
We might not have a future.
Unless we start now.
Unless we make the change that needs to be made.
We were put here to protect, and give,
We were put here to love, and save,
We need to start now!
We have already started the change,
By recycling, and reusing,
