poem 0 comments challenge: Virus

What are you doing?

You're hurting innocent people,
and they blame each other
for things that you did.

Some people don't believe in you,
how does that make you feel?

You've hurt people
and caused them pain,
but you've also
brought them together.

You've started moral debates
and internet wars,
does it make you happy?

You're a virus,
you don't have feelings,
you're just trying to stay alive,
but personifying you
is somehow theripudic.

I want to yell at you,
but I can't even see you.

You laugh at me,
protected by invisibility,
a microscopic enemy.
