poem 0 comments challenge: Virus

If you could speak you would lie: a letter to the virus

You are a knot in my hair
Fog in the air
A bruise on a pear

You breathe not oxygen
But death
'Why do you do it’ I say
The reply ‘I enjoy taking lifes as I may’

Do It For Fun
You  take for greed
No matter if we beg and plead

You take and you take
 you big lousy fake
You pass like a ghost
In this contaminated air
Spreading your stinky stench without a care

They may think it is  a cold
Oh no
It is much to bold

Suit yourself
You’ve been told
