Snowy Owl

The stealthy wings of a Snowy Owl soar through the clear night.
No one spots her but a mouse, who went squeaking away in fright.
This beautiful bird then flies gracefully to her treetop home,
For she must return to her young before the other predators roam.
When dawn awakens the silent night with rays of sunlight galore,
This Snowy Owl falls asleep- she didn't need anything more.
