I wished

Fifteen years ago wishing on a star hoping it would come true 

What was I wishing you may ask well I can’t tell you but lets just say it came true 

Now back to the present day I’m waiting to star in my favorite musical, Hamilton as my favorite character, Angelica

If you guess I wanted to act yes That is what I wished I love acting     

The Fame part not so much someone could be taking a picture of you whenever but yes that is the price I must pay    

When I was younger I used to think it was funny 

When celebrities were embarrassed in public 

but now I regret was I laughed about 

I miss having a normal life, ever since a scout was at my 7th Grade play 

I’ve never had a moment to be myself beside on stage 

Even my family has changed 

My life has been taken over 

I’ve always been trapped since I wished
