poetry challenge: Spring Sounds
Penelope

Spring

The feeling of grass beneath your feet
The feeling of sunlight on your face
The feeling of ice cream on your tongue
The feeling of happiness

The sound of birds singing
The sound of rain dripping
The sound of the leaves swaying in the wind
The sound of calm

The sight of leaves growing
The sight of flowers blooming
The sight of big white puffy clouds
The sight of beauty.

The smell of early morning dew
The smell of flowers and pollen
The smell of fresh air
The smell of freedom

The feelings, the sounds, the sights the smells, of Spring

Such a pretty and fresh poem! I like the repetition and the fun descriptions, like "big white puffy clouds" and "early morning dew."
