"Women of America are not calm right now..." [Claire McCaskell, as quoted by Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin] The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to block a Texas abortion ban, the most restrictive abortion law in the country. It prohibits most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, makes no exceptions for incest or rape, and deputizes citizens to sue providers or those aiding the procedure with the potential for a $10,000 reward.
