Thanks! I believe the fuchsia flowers are Dianthus armeria, a type of carnation found in Europe and most of North America. Some species that tend to catch my eye near me are lupine, daisies, coneflowers, and the rarer yellow lady's slipper, though hydrangeas and black-eyed Susans are common here too!!
