    Drawn with acrylic paints.
Though it is not winter currently, I drew this piece in contemplation of my culture, heritage, and how we live tied to nature. In East Asia, chrysanthemums represent good fortune and vitality. Walking down the streets with the blossoms opening under caps of soft snow is a wonderful sight that connects families. I want to say to people -- my grandparents, especially -- that I hope they are living well and have a life of simple good fortune.
