the cold, wet drops slip down my face like day-old tears.
they drench my body and clothes with the feeling of freedom.
i am happy.
i am free.
this moment is perfect.
i splash my feet around in the puddles surrounding my ankles.
my mouth opens,
allowing the gentle drops to touch my tongue.
i start to laugh.
i am happy.
in this moment,
i have not a care in the world.
i am free.
my dripping hair is plastered to my face as i twirl around,
swinging my arms.
as i glance up,
i am greeted by the moon.
a beautiful, luminescent light surrounded by an ethereal glow.
my eyes light up as a smile grows on my face.
i am happy.
and i am free.
they drench my body and clothes with the feeling of freedom.
i am happy.
i am free.
this moment is perfect.
i splash my feet around in the puddles surrounding my ankles.
my mouth opens,
allowing the gentle drops to touch my tongue.
i start to laugh.
i am happy.
in this moment,
i have not a care in the world.
i am free.
my dripping hair is plastered to my face as i twirl around,
swinging my arms.
as i glance up,
i am greeted by the moon.
a beautiful, luminescent light surrounded by an ethereal glow.
my eyes light up as a smile grows on my face.
i am happy.
and i am free.

Read this a few times and my smiler just got wider. You really highlighted some perfect moments that make us happy. splashing in puddles, seeing the moon, dancing in the rain (a personal favorite). made me happy reading this :)
