A Toast

To the ones who walked beside me every day,
and those who walked away from me.

To the ones who I left behind,
and those who left me.

To the ones who taught me through kindness,
and those who taught me through cruelty.

To the ones who I hurt,
and those who hurt me.

To the ones who have been here this first eighteen years,
and those who will be there for the next.

A toast, to those who made this masterpiece, whether methodically or by mistake, I drink to thee.

Thank you. Susan and Anna, for running and maintaining this website for all of us here to use and share our works with each other. The opportunities that you have been able to offer us to grow and learn. My peers on this site, for having the dedication to this craft and to each other. Spending the years alongside you all has been wonderful. My family, for raising me and my friends for keeping me in line. My teachers for filling in the roles I still needed and for having the patience and determination to work with me. Thank you.
