The Person in the Mirror is a Fake

I can no longer look in the mirror,
The person standing there is unrecognizable.
All that's left is the morphed image of every mask I carry

Have you ever been in a room full of people
Where you feel as if everyone hates you
But at the same time no one even sees you

I am hated
But I'm invisible

The mirror is empty now
Just a hollowed out husk of the person I used to be
I don't see myself
I don't even know myself

Who am I?

This piece is so true and raw, I love how you were able to put the feeling into words. It hit hard for me because I am trans and that is the exact feeling I have experienced for the last few years, like the person in the mirror is not a reflection of yourself.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece!
    Also welcome to YWP!! :)
