Winter means snow, staying inside, and freezing temperatures. Right? Wrong. Winter is a time of joy, playfulness, and fluffy powder filling the streets with all sorts of brightness and happiness. Every year I look forward to winter, I can't wait for hot chocolate warming my hands and the fluffy powder warming our hearts. Almost every weekend me and my friends play football in the backyard. We first assess the weather then put on all the right clothing to brace against the cold. We don't wear gloves it's too hard to catch with them. We then walk out to the backyard, we hope that there is snow cushioning us from the rock hard ground, if there no snow you just suck it up and try not to break any bones. After about three minutes our hands are screaming for warm air, they turn as red as a ripe tomato, our faces are the same and usually worse they are stricken with signs of frostbite. But we don't care, we are as happy as can be.
