Yes, an accident.
But why do I still feel bad?
It was innocent.

Now all I can see
is that miniscule red dot
on the white paper.

My pencil once held,
but flung loosely by my hand,
soon hit the sole spot.

And right there I sat,
still unable to process.
That innocent gnat.
