Why are people quoting me so much??? I don't mind. I'm honored in fact. I guess I'm just curious..
Cool...
I think we'll also do a one sentence story challenge...

As one of the few dedicated prose writers on the site as well as a podcaster, I love the idea of getting new people into it.
Count me in.

As another of the few prose
As another of the few prose writers, I very much agree.
How about this prompt as well: A 400-word biography? Fiction or nonfiction, it has only to be complete in 400 words...

That sounds good. I try to write prose, but I make it way too long...
400 words would be a perfect lenghth for a piece.

Oh no, gg! Feel better
Oh no, gg! Feel better soon!
Also, about the money, how much does it cost to keep this site anyway? We could distribute fliers with poetry on them and then at the bottom ask for donations...or maybe not.

Feel Better!!
Feel Better gg!! I think podcasts are a really cool idea I just have no idea how to post them. Another thing, do you think we should have another big sort of convention like during the winter? Also, the prose writing should be an interesting challenge because that is the type of writing I think I struggle the most with.

Get Better Soon!
Dear GG,
I am sorry to hear about your aches and pains. I hope you get better speedily!
I wonder if there is some way to do a poetry slam but at the same time get money. For example, if we had a space where we could have writers read their work, without being formal, but having an audience who pays to get in? Kill two birds with one stone? Somehow... if it worked, I think the outcome would be twice as good; getting money from fund raising and being able to listen and share work with each other and an audience.
Just an idea...
That
That could not have been fun -the surgery and all.
Feel better!

Real Eyes: realize: real lies
N.S. and P.T. ...
... some answers...
N.S. No real method to the madness. Just a judgment call...I read a lot of stuff and if a writer is interesting and putting in a lot of effort, I try to acknowledge it. I will be doing more rotating of writers into and out of that spot in the coming months...we have a LOT of folks, like yourself, who are contributing much to the site...
P.T. Done. For all that I could find (I think you lost count from 26 to 29). I put in the keyword one sentence on your first and then linked the rest to that file like a book ... And, yes, thanks for reminding me about the site. I've put in a reference.

Question:
For prose week, what about something like a play? Is that okay?

Hey! New stuff on the right
Hey! New stuff on the right sidebar and Senior Writers have been converted to "writers to read". I like the summer writing ideas as well.
Just noticed those... I realize this is a rather pointless comment.

Why aren't YOU up there?
And there are definitely some writers I see there who I wouldn't have expected.
It almost looks like some are there simply for quantity.

Ah well. It gives other people a chance to get noticed, right? Besides, I've hardly posted anything in close to a month, so I'm not exactly worthy at the moment anyway.
You're looking spiffy at numero uno ;)
Remind me never to use "spiffy" and "numero uno" again in the dame sentence...

Okay, so now once you're logged in under your name it has "my unread." I followed that along for a bit and it came to "groups" and I just wanted to know what that's all about.
Wow...
OK,
So you have gotten onto an area that I am building... I am actually finishing up a configuration on the site that will allow us to build a few places where people can go based on interests or age.
The impetus behind this is that some of the folks who've been with the site for a while are looking for a place where they can get deeper feedback. Others are looking for ways they can write about topics more appropriate for older kids...
We'll be announcing it soon. Good sleuthing...
cheers
geoff
Okay.
Thanks. That sounds like a good idea. I think I might actually remember people talking about that. Cool!

GG.
Can I ask an odd question after being away for so long?
is it possible to group people's one sentence stories into a blog post, that they can continually add on to? it's rather... space filling to have all the one sentence stories single.
thanks,
Paris
