Create a small comic strip.

Using your preferred medium, show us what your dream cake looks like and if there is something more to it than what meets the eye. 

Imagine you are an octopus––able to change your appearance at will and feel everything around you. What would that be like? 

Using just pencil and paper, draw a sprawling city full of apartment buildings and people.

Look at a fruit, any kind of fruit, and write down everything you notice about it. Write a poem about this fruit and see where your observations take you.

Write a poem about what you imagine it would be like to float among the clouds. 

Create the most beautiful tree you can imagine.

Choose a time period that interests you and write a story about the way you would live in that time. What would your life be like? 

If you celebrate Thanksgiving, or you don't, write about this holiday's meaning to you. 

How do you see yourself? Make a collage, a painting, or use any other preferred medium of art to celebrate yourself.

A cinquain is similar to a haiku, being written in only five lines and restricting the number of syllables you can use. Write about anything that comes to mind, but make sure it’s in the form of a cinquain. 

Write about how snow makes you feel, whether it’s quiet, calm, happy, sad––whatever it is, write about it.
