Journal #1: 

rain sticking to my face
the cold wind howling an angry wail
a fumbling of my phone
a flyaway umbrella
led up to this exact moment

you pulled up 
in your old, green car 
and gave me that same look 

I opened the door of my room. The light from the hallway slowly trickled through that blasted room. Walking in, I cradled my trophy proudly.

They picked me up from the tank, and plop! I was slammed into the water, and everything became so blank and blissful. 

As the moon and stars swirled around me overhead, I was overcome by a sense of senseless peace. My body floated in the endless void, as little purple sprites took apart every atom of my being. It wasn’t painful.
