My beach library

My ideal library would be on a beach in Maine. The library would be in the stone wall that separates the grass from the sand. It would stretch from the beginning to end of the entire beach so that you could take long walks on the beach searching for the perfect book.

The beach library would be filled with all types of books because you never know what kind of books you’ll like. I often find that my interests in life also appear in my interests in reading. Then again I also enjoy reading things I know nothing about. So my library would be filled with books, articles, magazines, drawing books, different language dictionaries so that I could understand what the person next to me is saying, if they are judging me.

The beach is where I feel most relaxed to read. To be able to sit down and listen to the white noise of waves moving back and forth, the squawking of the seagulls that has now become a comfort noise, the sand that is so hot it slightly burns my toes.

I would be sitting in one of those crappy beach chairs that no one ever remembers buying, just somehow everyone has, and are always broken. The beach would be completely empty or the nearest people would look like tiny dots. Hours to sit on the beach with the ocean, and an endless library.
