Riddle

So loud, yet you can’t hear it.

Ink on paper, so common yet taken for granted

Long, or short it can be

Every second holds value

Never ending, or never beginning

Coins, euros, yen could never afford it

Even animals understand it

As I rolled like cinnamon onto the ruff turf,

My shoe hit my other shoe like cars on a freeway,

Causing myself to be in an accident.

Even though I knew people were crying,

    I could only hear nothingness.

  • Substitute

I stood as still as water in the doorway,

    As the room grew smaller.

Your ghost greeted me in your Home Depot Office chair.

As it was being squashed by someone wearing all black.

  • Deep Blue

    Resting your head

    On silk filled fluff

    you wait

    for your mind

    to make your movie

    your personal entertainment

    An experience

    just for you

    your dream,

    about you
