Transform

Blood, black blood coursed through my veins.

I knew from that moment I would never be the same.

My raging heart beat with an evil flare.

I wanted to understand what my true powers could do out there.

A fire, black and blue,

Burns away each drop of gold that my heart knew.

Rage surged through my mind,

And all the deep plans of my heart start to unwind.

Turning from a beating red to a stealthy black,

I’ve gone so far, I can’t go back.

My stomach growled its own evil laugh.

Like my body was ready to attack.

I knew it then, I knew it true,

I would make the world black and blue.

At noon i knew it was not right

Once filled with hope and love and light

The blackened pavement of my street

Now has nothing to see in sight

    Without toys it wasn’t complete

  • A Hundred Word Poem

A hundred words is a lot

A hundred degrees is very hot

When you rob hundred dollars from a bank, you get caught

When you go a hundred miles into space you have become an astronaut

  • Empty

The blank walls shine like the ones at a pearly bank

The floors on wood where so much has withstood

I down the halls I take a chance and glance

Even though we couldn’t stand it any longer, it has made me stronger
