Well, here we go

Well, here we go.
In a pandemic.
Not only in a pandemic,
Protests all around,
shootings,
violence.
What can I do?
People are getting sick,
getting hurt.
Which one is worse?
If it's possible,
when will the world go back to 'normal'?
As normal as it can get.
I don't know how I can help,
but I know I can.
Somehow.
So can everyone.
We can all be part of this.
This virus.
Evil.
Well, here we go.
Scientists are working on a vaccination,
And we will keep protesting for what's right.
Whether it's for lgbtqia+ rights,
or black lives matter,
or anything.
Well, here we go.
This poem might be a bit too intense,
But it's important to know this.

  • Boat

    Friendship

Is the best boat to board.
But I don’t want to work hard
    To steer this boat
If the ocean is fighting me.
I want the ocean to respect me.
This boat needs to be able to go both ways.
  • Some things glow

    Some things glow
    Under the light
    Of my LED light strips
    fading from purple to orange
    to red
    to yellow.

Some things glow, like my neon mask
    or my soccer socks

    Like people
    Some people
    it's their moment
