Patchpelt Poetry

gradster1's picture

I tried this once on an old blog I had, to no avail. That's because it requires participants...

I'd like everyone who sees this to submit three of your favorite phrases, words, or even whole sentences as a comment. From there, I'll... put them together.

This idea has never worked yet, mind you. I'll need a response to continue.

Remember this:

1. Please, all original works.
2. Poetic devices such as metaphors, alliteration, and word/rhyme structure et cetera help a lot.

I'll give this a shot...

1. Mental torture can be quite tiring.

2. I was happy with my embers.

3. The depth of personification rings a bell somewhere inside of my heart.

(Is this what you meant?)

2) Troglodyte

3) Mistress of simile (alliterative and meaningless)

Hmm.

To a lot of you:

I wasn't really looking for that many specific things (full sentences et cetera). I can try to work them in, but it's better the way Special and Nonsequitur did it - concepts and single words (although Nonsequitur, your second is rather daunting).

/gradster(1)/ - working on it
