The witch

She never did one thing wrong.
She just fixed people.
Helped everyone.
She knew everything the earth can give.
She gave me love when no one else did.
She  is strong as a ironwood,
As beautiful as a willow.
But when you framed her.
Said she was bad,
Evil Magic.
Hung her in the square to die.
I stood on the side.
Tears sliding silently down my face.
I had lost my mother.
Every night I learned everything,
I became a witch.
I knew I would die,
But my town needed a witch.
So no matter what I loved,
Healed,
Helped,
And survived.
