The Underwater World

Cool water rushes into my ears, blocking out the noise from above.
I blow bubbles from my nose and watch them float to the top of the water.
The water gently stings my eyes as I open them, revealing to me an underwater world.
My hair floats up by my face and splays out everywhere.
I stay under the water for what seems like ages,
And soon I find myself reaching to the surface.
I gasp, drawing lungful after lungful of air once I break the surface.
I can feel the adrenaline pumping through my body at a million miles an hour.
My breath comes short and fast until I finally calm down,
And then I duck underwater once again to another adventure.
