Alexa what time is it?
Hey Siri, what's the weather for today?
A calculator; a dictionary; an encyclopedia,
ready at your convenience.
But nobody is reading dictionaries for fun.
Something what you forget is that I am not one of these.
Something you don't remember is that I'm real-same as you.
Something that you conveniently never knew is that I have feelings too.
I am always here, when you need me and when you don't.
I don't hesitate to help you. Sure, I can do your homework.
I know that you are human and have constant stress and failures-same as me.
I'll do what I can to make life easier for you.
Would you do the same for me?
You say you would, but actions speak louder than words.
You forget I'm here when you don't need me anymore,
but yet there I am when you do.
Do you value my numbered buttons as the complex technology they are,
or do you only see them as something that can help you get ahead?
You don't even need that help. You're in the best math class this school has.
When are you going to realize that my time is precious?
It's a sacrifice for me to put you first.
Think of what I could have achieved without you standing in my way.
Is it time yet for me to love myself more than who you tell me you are?

  • Your Game

I've been here before; I know your ways.
You think you have me in a bind? I wouldn't say the same.
It comes so easy, moving so fast.
But you don't suspect, that I do have a past.
I'll play your little game. It's always the same.
  • He had a Dream

    He had a dream
But not one of soaring skies and indigo seas.
    A man who believed
That we could all live happily in harmony.
    He is long gone
    But his dream lives on.
    Come sisters and brothers
    Together we will stand

  • A girl walks down the street at night

A girl walks down the street at night
haunted by the ghosts of her past.
She can hear the wind calling her name.
She knows what she needs to do
but can't bring herself to do it.
In the town of her childhood
    she feels lost.
