I feel alive.
I feel alive when I am biking.
The world zooming by sometimes so fast everything around me is a blur of colors.
Pushing my legs to pump harder, stronger. -
Ocean.
Waves
pulling at the sand
dragging my feet towards deeper water
Running down the beach
splashing as hard as I can
getting soaked but loving it
salt making my skin itch and eyes sting
getting sunburned and tan -

Joy
Joy filling me up like a balloon.
No needle can pop it.
Joy spilling out of me like a bucket with no bottom.
No duck tape can seal it up.
Joy falling out of my mouth when I laugh.
Nobody can mute it.
Joy making my smile bright. -
Sunset from the top of the world
I stand there on the peak.
the sun a bright yellow ball of fire
slowly falling out of the sky.
clouds turn.
yellow,
orange,
haze of red.
then comes twilight.
a blanket of stars.
