I played with dolls and went down sticky slides

I rolled my eyes 

My friend Ally asked me to write a poem for her drawing and this is how it turned out!

There was a new girl in class today
She had long blonde hair 

Slowly I reach my hand out and glide my fingers over the engraved wood. It’s been so years since I came back here and I’m surprised it’s still here. And yet I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Sublime
Water rushes like 
Millions of sparkling 
Diamonds around me 

Perpetual
Everlasting love 
Existing only in dreams 
I wish it were real 

you're in too deep
i tell myself
yet day after day
i feel myself falling deeper
