I used to be good at this. I didn't have to think so hard about it. I intuitively knew how to write.

I think that when you get good you have to start trying to be better. I mean that your standards are higher, and now instead of brain dumping, not knowing if it was good or bad, you have a taste for what is actually good so you critique yourself and now feel like you're not as good as you used to be. (Which isn't true at all, I've read your stuff).
