Every time I find myself pausing (on a walk, in the car, or just in my house) and photographing something, or just appreciating it, I always wonder what others think when they see it. Do they even see the same thing I do? Do they simply see it as just another plant and pass right by? Or do they see the how the sun’s rays only reach half of the flowers at this angle? Do they see how the sun at golden hour makes them almost glow? Do they see how the wind flutters gently across the leaves? Do they see how the shadows almost make the petals seem blue? Do they see how the delicate petals greatly contrast with the stone behind them? I always hope that when I find something worth pausing to appreciate, others do as well. This is unedited.
