For “Umber’s Harmony”, I created a mixed media collage. I took song lyrics in the numerous colors of brown/tan/pink and experimented with the scrapbooking method. I usually find myself listening to music as a way to express my creative mind. Music is such a huge part of my life, and it gives me such tranquility, which is how I discovered my theme for these journal pages. My music taste doesn’t have a particular theme, which is how I decided to set up my collage in a nonobjective style. Just letting myself create something without having to worry, really allowed me to create something truly sentimental to my life.
