In the Outer Banks of North Carolina these wild horses have already adapted to all of the sea salt in the plants they eat, but then I wonder; what else will they have to adapt to in the future? Will staying in the shade under porches be enough to keep them cool? Will there be enough rainwater for them to drink? And not just horses, but any other animal as well. Will animals come out of hibernation earlier and earlier? Will the geese still migrate at the same times, if at all?
