Living in a suburban development I often miss how I used to live surrounded by woods. However, throughout the neighborhood there are still small patches of forest still left, as overgrown and dead as they are. Without these pockets of vegetation I lose this grounding sense of peace, animals lose their homes, and the atmosphere absorbs more and more CO2.
