8th Grade Prankm

“You're such a party pooper!” Lily says exasperated.

“Well I’m sorry. It's just I have so much homework to do.” I lied. I already did it. I just didn't want to do that 8th grade prank. I could be reading or doing something more worth  of my time.

“Emily you got to do more than just school. What's wrong with having a little fun! It's just a prank. You only get one childhood. Come on please!”

“No.”

“Pretty please with a cherry on top!”

“Not uh!”

“Come on ever since your-”

“Lily, I don't want to talk about it.”

While I was walking away I heard Lily say,“Sorry I forgot you're still a little sensitive! Talk to you later?” Lily said empathetically.

“Yup!”

When I got to math I was in my happy place. Math is my favorite part of my day. I smelled the air. *sniff* Ahhh I love the smell of math! I got my pencils and my handy calculator and waited for class to start. A  few seconds later  Lily was whispering for me to come to her in the hall.

“What?”

“Come!”She said excitedly

She grabs my hand and starts to pull.

“Lily what are you-”

“Shhh! You're going to thank me for it! Trust me.”

And we start to walk. One minutes later we are at the front of the school.

“Wait, why are we here?” I asked.

“We are leaving the school to get the 8th grade prank stuff..”

“Uhm what? No way! I’m going back to math.” Before I could start to walk Lily grabbed my hand. She was resilient to have me come.

“Please!” She pleads

As I was looking at her face I could see she needed me to help. So I nodded and we started walking out the door.

“Thank you! You won't regret this!”

But I was already regretting it. It was cold outside. I wish Lily told me I would need my jacket. All I had on was my yellow hoodie that had a smiley face on it and a pair of jeans.

“So why are we leaving the school?” I ask.

“We are going to the hardware store to get paints.”
“What are they for?” I ask.

“We are going to make the principal's office everything pink. Because he hates pink with a pasion! We are going to paint the walls pink with wooden things.” She said excitedly.

Why am I doing this? I should not be doing  pranks. I could get suspended! I need to tell Lily I can't. But then.

“Emily thanks for doing this.We have not been able to do anything together and this means alot to me. Now what pink?”

Great. Now I will get guilty for not doing this. Fine, I'll do it. What would my mother think if I got arrested? Will this go on my permanent record?

A moment later I hear a turbulent sound. I looked to see what happened and standing there in the middle of all that mess was my dear, old friend, with the most peculiar look on her face.
