Here are some things
that I've learned
from my first year
of high school

Things are gonna be
a little bit strange
and sometimes 
you will want to cry

Don't be afraid
to let emotions show
they're part of who
you are

Sometimes things
won't turn out the way
you expected
and that's okay

Big things might happen
so always be prepared
but I don't want you
to be too scared

If you think about it
high school is only
a small fraction
of your life

So even 
if it's awful
just remember
it'll be over soon
