She had never seen anything so magnificent in her life. Blue whales were rising all around Ann, little calves were circling her kayak from all directions. Ann pulled out her camera for a picture.
Finally, after three minutes of waiting, a male whale jumped! Out of the water he came! Ann’s kayak almost tipped. She clicked the shutter release button as the whale was in mid air. Slowly a little photograph came out of her camera. She was so amazed that she got the picture in time. Ann looked at the photo for a couple minutes. She knew just where to place it on her classroom wall.
As Ann hung the picture up, children plowed into the room. They found the photo hanging front and center of her classroom, right next to all of her other safari adventure photos.
