I could be

I could be writing right now

about fairytales;

princesses, and dragons,

magic, and the prince that comes to save her.

But life isn't a fairytale for anybody, 

so why write about them?

It's not like I have firsthand experience.

I could be writing right now

about how much I want to go to NYU;

But that's boring for you, isn't it?

So why write about it?

It's not like it would interest you.

I could be writing right now

about anything;

But instead I'm writing this.

Anything else 
would be better than what I'm writing now.

So why write about it?

I'll write it because it's fun.
