Mirror Mirror On the Wall - Part I

One day I was admiring my reflection in my bedroom mirror when something strange happened. I grinned at my reflection to see if I had some spinach in my teeth from dinner, but my reflection did not smile back. Finding this very rude, I went downstairs to tell my mom. But when I told her my reflection was being rude, she just told me to get ready for bed. I went upstairs and made a face at my reflection, he just smirked and walked away.
“What a stuck up little jerk!” I mumbled to myself just as my mom walked into my room.
“How rude!” my mother said, “no dessert for two days”.
“But mom,” I said, “I was talking to my reflection, not you!”.
“Enough of this reflection nonsense,” mom said, “your reflection is not alive and you will go straight to bed right now!".
“Yes mom,” I grumbled.

Mom kissed me goodnight and turned out the light. My reflection stuck its tongue out at me from the other side of the room just before I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up at 7 am and got ready for school. I waved goodbye to my reflection and headed out the door. School was very busy, all the kids and teachers zoomed past me on the way to their classrooms. I found my best friend Justin and walked to class with him. We arrived in math class just as the bell went off.
“Okay class today we will learn about dividing fractions,” the math teacher said dully.
“Hey,” Justin whispered, “want to hang out after school today?”
“I can't,” I replied, “mom needs to take ruby to the vet today.”
“What if you came over to my place?”
“Hmm, okay I just need to ask my mom.”
“Great! We're going to have so much fun.”

When I asked mom if I could go over to Justin's house she said yes I was old enough that I could go hangout there while she was taking Ruby. Now there was just one thing to take care of.
“Hey mom,” I asked, “can I bring the upstairs mirror to Justin’s house?”
“Why do you need to bring that?” My mom asked.
“Because I don’t think Justin’s house has any mirrors,” I answered.
“Honey, I don't think you need to spend your time at Justin’s admiring your reflection.”
“You're right, I shouldn’t admire him, he is kind of weird… but he’s fun to play with.”
“Dear, we have been over this, your reflection is NOT alive.”
“Whatever mom,” I said.

On the way to Justin’s I noticed that my reflection was acting out more than usual. Whenever we passed a store or shop with a window or mirror in it my reflection would start making faces or banging on the glass. When I finally got to the point where I could see Justin’s house, I saw something peculiar. Nailed to one of the surrounding trees was a single mirror. I walked towards the mirror and saw my reflection there.
“What do you want?” I asked.
He motioned for me to come closer. As I approached the mirror the trees around Justin's house became less detailed. The grass seemed to turn itself around till it was backwards. The reflection reached out and the scariest thing happened. It reached through the mirror and pulled me in!

    Mirror Mirror Part II

The world was spinning and my life was flashing before my eyes. I had no idea what was happening as I spun through a vortex of glass. I knew my reflection was different, but I had no idea what it was capable of.
