The night hound (Horror/Fantasy) (Will continue)

Chapter 1:

“Howl! Howl! Howl!” A green dog yowled. She was stalking her victim, a young man who was dying. She saw the spirit rise from his body as he passed away.

“Hello?” He called. “Is anyone there?”

“Yes.” The dog whispered, her voice dark and creepy.

“Who’s that?” The man said, his voice wavering.

“I’m Eagal, your key to the afterlife.”

“What?” The man sounded confused.

“I said, YOUR GUIDE TO THE AFTERLIFE!” Eagal shrieked. The man cowered in fear.

“Please. Tell me how to get back.”

“What? Your way back? But you’re dead.” She laughed.

“What.” The man gaped. “How?”

“Dummy.” She snarled. “You DIED. Can’t you listen?”

“Oh. And one question; what are you?” The young man asked.

“Ah ha!” Eagal sighed happily. “I’m a Cu Sith, the guide to the afterlife. All spirits fear me, and you should to.”

“Why?”

“Because I’m dangerous, stupid!” Eagal barked.

“Oh. So, what do I have to do?” The man asked.

“Answer my questions.” Eagal responded.

“Ok... but how are you dangerous.” He asked.

“If you don’t answer correctly, or if I don’t like you, I kill you, and you’re gone forever.” Eagal replied, swishing her tail. The man's face went pale.

“Can you get on with the questions already?” He trembled.

“Ok!” Eagal woofed happily.

The man sighed. “Good.”

“First question!” She jumped up and down. “What's my name?”

“Eagal.”

“Good. What am I, and what is my purpose?”

“You’re a Cu Sith, and you guide spirits to the afterlife.” The man said.

“Hmp. Yes.” Eagal growled. “Now, what does my name mean in Scottish?”

The man's face went pale, and he started to breath hard. “When did you tell me that?” He asked. “Or did you not?”

“I didn’t. But... I don’t want to. So... guess!” Eagal laughed.

“Um. Flower?” He guessed.

“Wrong!” Eagal sang, swishing her tail. “Now for the fun part!”

“No!” shrieked the man as Eagal leapt at him, her jaws open wide. Eagal landed on the ground, a nose length from him.

“Please.” He whispered.

“Nope!” Eagal licked her chops.

The man's shriek rose into a high-pitched scream as Eagal killed him, licking her lips free of his blood.

“Well now that's done!” Eagal woofed.
