The first time I saw them was when the tree's shedded their silk,
Holding the others hands and breathing in the world.
When their white, loose clothes
Fluttered in the breeze,
When their raven hair fell heavily against their backs and forehead,
I almost breathed in the calmness and prosperity
Of their contented minds.
Everything from the
Amaryllis's tucked gently behind their ears
And the Gloxina's spilling from their pockets,
To their long lashes and forgiving mouths,
To the deep gray shade of their eyes;
Nothing would dare try and hide the truth
And peace
And love.
While I memorized the details on their face
Their almost toxicly honest and pureness
Graced my mind.
When the wind snatched them up
And they left me all alone
I knew a piece more.
Holding the others hands and breathing in the world.
When their white, loose clothes
Fluttered in the breeze,
When their raven hair fell heavily against their backs and forehead,
I almost breathed in the calmness and prosperity
Of their contented minds.
Everything from the
Amaryllis's tucked gently behind their ears
And the Gloxina's spilling from their pockets,
To their long lashes and forgiving mouths,
To the deep gray shade of their eyes;
Nothing would dare try and hide the truth
And peace
And love.
While I memorized the details on their face
Their almost toxicly honest and pureness
Graced my mind.
When the wind snatched them up
And they left me all alone
I knew a piece more.
