In a world of screens that never fade,
A voice is found, yet sometimes swayed.
In every swipe, a new facade,
A life lived fast, but still feels odd.
Connections made with just a click,
A thousand friends, but none to pick.
The pulse of likes, the pressure’s weight,
In a virtual crowd, we contemplate.
Voices rise for change and fight,
For justice, peace, for equal rights.
The future feels both bright and dim,
A climate burned by winds so grim.
We build, we break, we rise, we fall,
A generation answering the call.
We’re teenagers now, but in our veins,
Flows the pulse of hope, despite the strain.

Social media is probably the main reason I fluctuate between thinking highly of our generation to "Oh my gosh, I am surrounded by idiots!"
But maybe we'll save the plant, who knows
I agree
