Laying in a cardboard box
You grab me from all I've known
Across the dusty conveyor belt
And into your car I go
And with this I leave my life, my family, my temporary home
You set me on the counter with the diapers and cheese
The kitchen window open a light fall breeze
I spend my last moments watching the sun
The stars are rising I know what's to come
In the morning you will rise your baby in hand
and I will become just another Jack'o man
