Holding hope in her talons

She is glass

Stable and transparent

Never hiding her intentions

Never shattering

She is the sun

Bringing light to the world

Shining down on the earth

Allowing others to take in her warmth

She is a girl

With the resilience of a firebird 

Shining in her eyes

With the honesty of glass
