Superheroes

        Lex and Kyle are siblings who shared a dream: to become superheroes. They would spend hours flipping through comic books while their parents discussed the intricacies of fine wine. They would daydream seeing their favorite heroes such as Superman and Spider-Man defeating criminals and supervillains. They would make every chore into a battle against great evil. Today was one such day that they stretched their imagination.  An ice cream truck drove near where Lex and Kyle were playing ball. They stopped what they were doing and ran after it. Kyle imagined himself as Superman catching up to a getaway vehicle. Lex imagined herself as Spider-Man swinging in the air, following a vehicle with classified information. When the ice cream truck finally stopped, Lex and Kyle gave the ice cream man money. The man smiled and handed them ice creams with the color scheme of Superman and Spider-Man. The siblings waved the man away as the truck drove into uncharted lands.
