Two Minds

Two girls

One popular

trendy

cool

One unnoticed

unafraid

smart

One clicks on a Instagram post

and gets a new trendy outfit

it was expensive but

she is now more popular than ever

The other cuts her long sleeves 

into t-shirts

she cuts her old jeans

into jean-shorts

after she has grown so she cannot fit

she makes the old clothes into a blanket

The popular girl has thrown away the used-to-be trendy  clothes

And she has little money left.

Two minds

Two hearts

Two lives

The most important thing is friends and trends

or

The most important thing is money and sustainability
