Fall is beautiful. The leaves are changing and there are hot air balloons in the sky. The fall is kind of like a goldilocks season. It is neither hot nor cold. It's always a mixture of the strong winds hitting you like waves and the heat striking out of nowhere like lightning. But there are those perfect days where it’s in the high 70’s though the day then at night it’s in the low 70’s and you can just sit outside, stair up at the stars, and just relax. When you see the stars in the fall it is like looking at a shiny disco ball but without the ball and it’s just the lights that shine around it. Not only are fall nights great but so is day time in fall. I mean who doesn’t like to jump in big piles of leaves. It may stress parents out because of ticks and who knows what else but it’s just too good to pass up the opportunity. You know what also is as fun as jumping in leaves? Apple picking. You get to run all over the orchard with your friends and family picking apples and doing other random stuff. I just realized I haven't yet said what fall means to me. I have just listed stuff that happens in fall but fall is more than just stuff. Fall is anything and everything. It could be whatever you want it to be. It can be emotions or feelings whatever you want. But fall to me means change. It’s the change from summer to winter. It’s the change from summer break to school. The change from freshly grown fruits and vegetables to freezer food like frozen peas, corn, and carrots (gross). My parents always make an inventory with those on it when they go grocery shopping in fall. It’s the change from a free schedule to something everyday of every week. But the one thing that doesn’t change is the friends and family around me. THAT is what fall means to me.
