Where it’s Quiet

Rain patters down on doorsteps

Houses, roofs and windows

Every where it clatters down

Diminishing the rainbows

Houses moan and creek

Groaning with agony

Sidewalks take the pain

And flowers stop their harmonies

Waves stop their movement

Sand loses its touch

Woods sloth melts away

And they all make nosies as such

But trees take the rain relentlessly

Though if they are just air

Though if they get overwatered

They retain their lifeless glare.

We should worry more about trees in the rain

For how long can they take the pain?
