Home

For the longest time,
I thought home was a place.
I thought it was a house,
in the smalll state I live in.
I assumed it had to be a place,
one I was bound to by invisible forces.
I assumed I was only homesick
when I was far from that place.
Except, to me, home isn't a place.
It's a small group of people: my family.
I know now I can move anywhere in the world,
and never feel 'at home' unless I'm with my family.
